Book Review 2-11 ☆ Fishy Tales


I read "Fishy Tale".
This book is about fish. It introduce about the fish's and their body's name.
The pictures are very beautiful and cute. I can learn how some of fish say in English.
Coral reef is said "Sangoshow" in Japanese.
Flipper means the arm and hand of turtles and dolphins and seals.
Snout is a nose of animals that shape is like a tube. For example, dragonflies.
Crawl means moving with lying on the belly.
Suckers mean is the protuberance of octopus's arms. They help to stick somethings.
Claw means crab's arm.
Eels is said "Unagi" in Japanese. Eels have long long tail.
Ray is said "Ei" in Japanese. The word of "ray" has some different meanings. I never known sometimes ray means "Ei".
