Cut my hair!!!

After I met Tomoko, I went to "MU" that is my favorite hair salon.
I've been to MU since I was high school student. I don't only trust their techniques but also I like their atmosphere!! I can relax to be there.
Today I went to there. It's a little long time to go there. Maybe 6 month.
I sometime change the hair salon, but I like MU the best(*'∀'*)
First I had my forelock cut, like a fringe of hair on his blow.
Next I had cut the end of my hair because my hair is damaged by strong ultraviolet rays during this summer.

MovieReview☆Harry Potter

I watched the movie "Harry Potter".
I've been wanted to watch it since I leave Japan for abroad program.
And I got to my house, my mother said to me
"I've been waited for your coming back and go to watch the movie.
You really want to watch it, don't you?"
I was really glad to hear what my mother said.
Finally I went to the movie with my mom TODAY.

It was very fun. I like this time than last one.
Because it was not happy end at the last time.
Now I'm looking forward to watching next new movie.

DRUNK

I went to the party with my companions that we worked at the Family Mart. They take a party for my coming back!!

We went to Karaoke and "Secret Base", is a bar which we often go.

We enjoyed talking a lot and singing a song!!!

And I am the youngest in the meeting.

But we are similar ages, so we they don't care my age. I like them. They know things that I don't know.

They advise me, and I advise them.

They give me a relax time. I want to meet them again near the future.

Weeds

I watched DVD (WEEDS) at Taylor's house (one of my friends I made in MN).
This drama is not so famous in American drama.
It's little difficult for me to understand the content. Because they speak so fast and I don't know many words (including slung) in the show.
It is made like funny, but thinking more seriously, every problem is connected!!
Some problems are there in drama, those are big problems in America.
About drugs, cancer, sex, criminals.
But the opening music is very cute and peaceful.

CARIBOU COFFEE

I and my host family and friends and KGU student likes there so much.
We could drink the coffee at school. I often see the people who have a coffee of CARIBOU COFFEE in the morning. It's easy for us to accept and become a favorite place about caribou. Everyone loves Caribou.

And I was given a coffee cup that looks very nice by my host family, when I was leaving for Japan in the morning. I really like this cup, and I'm taping this essay with serving coffee:)

T.P. night

I did the T.P. with Kylie and Alison at my last night to stay in MN.
It's very fun and the one of my most exciting experiences here.
Mr. Sato knows what a T.P is.
He said T.P. is a kind of goofy things in America.

Dear my host family
Ken, Kari, Kylie, Harper

I had a very good time in America. Because you are so kind to contact with me.
You tried to accept my Japanese culture and habits.
I'm very glad you tried to eat corn with Japanese special source.
That is very easy to make, we need only soy source and sugar.
You tried to the special source!!
And you tried barley tea too. I'm very worried about either you like it or not. You tried my try, even Harper. I know you don't like barley. Because Ken told me that. Please forgive me a little meaning which I pretended not to know you don't like barley:)

I don't forget the time I ate pickle bean at Ken's mother's house. In fact I don't like pickle, you know? I may remember Ken's laughing at my strange face because I ate it as a hall of that. And I don't forget your house. Your house is full of love. You changed the position of furniture and making a new stuff like a rest room (not bath room). Ken and Kari are making up that cute house. And Ken you must be a good chef!! I assure your dishes are GOOD. I have interested in movies animation now. I convinced I've been interested in how wonderful world it is created in movie!! I want to study the region more.
I stayed exciting at your house. I had exciting days on the side of art. Thank you.


I don't forget I and Harper helped making apple pie with Kari. It's very fun for me. I've never made apple pie by my own hands. Every action and process we can enjoy. And I and Harper rolled the handle of the machine that shaving rind of apple.
And I decorate the edge of pie; it's a little difficult for me. I could finish decorating the edge because of Kari's help.

I don't forget making my work with Harper. Harper has good handing to cut the paper. Your cutting line is very cute, it suitable to my choosing the words.海理(=Kylie)
And I don't forget I got there at the first day, I was fallen down from your secret base, you really worried about me. You are very kind. I don't forget watching some movies and playing games and how much you really like sweets!! We ate "Nacho" at the basement. You cooked for me. I was really happy. And you explained me that movies content. In fact, I couldn't understand all of the content, but with your help I could understand the movie!


And the last is Kylie, I can't write the all, because I don't know what I should write about memories! We have many memories not to write down. You picked me up to many place so I could making friends, and sharing happy hour. I'm very glad to share the time with you. I don't forget the music every night in your car. I don't forget you and your friends have sweet hearts. I can't forget you welcomed me when I feel sad or nervous; of course I had happy time.

All of my memories are very precious things. My mind is still there. I' m not Japanese completely.

Because I like (or Love) the USA so much!

Movie☆review Silent Hill

I and Kylie went to Alison's house. Today I and Kylie and Alison and Kayla watched "Silent Hill".
In fact, I don't like horror movies. But we watched together, they made it funny with their jokes. I can't understand why the heroine went to the ghost town with her daughter. And the end is not good. I don't like the end.
All of us said "...Why? Why the producer made the end?"

It's a kind of animation from Disney.
I watched it wit my host family, Harper, Ken.
It was very funny movie; it's easy for us to understand the content by watching only the English. This movie is about a mouse to get to the restaurant.
I became to like a mouse, but I don't wanna it as a pet!!!

Saturday

I finished making my work for my host family.
I made 4 pictures drawing with "Kanji".
Ken is 健. The basic meaning is "Health".
Kari is　恵理. "恵" is blessing or glory. "理" is the reason or logic.
Kylie is 海理. "海" is the sea or ocean. "理" is the reason or logic.
Harper is 葉波. "葉" is the leaf. "波" is wave.
I made them with Harper. Harper helped cutting the papers.
She has nice hands to cut the paper by a cutter.
And Ken chose the paper patterns.
We made cutting the blue drawing paper and we made it to be able to see paper with colored patterns which are traditional Japanese pattern below the blue paper. I hope my family to be glad to see the work.

Movie Review☆Rush hour 3

I and Kari and Ken went to the theatre to watch the movie. Why their daughters (Kylie and Harper) weren't there is they were going to go to camp. So now I'm an only child in Steinbach house.
This is the first time to go to theatre to watch the movie. I really wanted to watch the movie in America.
It is maybe hard for me to watch the movie without subtitle.

It is a funny movie. Surprisingly, an actor is Japanese. He is Hiroyuki Sanada. He acts as a brother of Jacky Chen. He is an only family for Jacky.

Souvenir for my second family

I can't count how much I bought souvenir for Japanese.
I bought many sweets, picture books, calendars, small articles.
But I've never apportion yet.
Who should I give my souvenir to?????????

What do you think about that?

What can I do for my host family? I really appreciate them. But I don't have enough time. Taylor is leaving today, so next is me.
The day is too short. I have to do something during I can stay here. I don't wanna come back Japan. Many examinations and my busy part time job life are waiting.

So I make my host family to try some Japanese food.
First I make "Zentya" and "Ryokutya".
It's a little different for their thinking about "Green (Japanese) tea".
They try not to fear about new thing.
Next I make a source for corns to dip. A dinner was BBQ so Ken burned corn.
I came up with making the special source. The source need much sugar.
American people may like it. I think it's a traditional source in Japan. We often see the source at festival.
It's maybe strange combination for them, but they like it!!!!
I'm really glad. I used Soy source (Kikkoman) and sugar.
I have only to mix the sugar and soy source to getting a little rough.

Third I made "Barley tea". Ken and Kari like the tea. I made for me (taking to school) and them (they drink it at dinner).
They said to me it is similar to coffee. I'm very surprised. TEA AND COFFEE????
But it's good for them because they can drink a little easily than other tea.
They sometimes want me to drink the tea. And sometimes call it "I want a Makko tea".
I'm glad to making that tea.
I'm really delighted to accept Japanese culture and food.
I Thanks for host family to try my new strange food.
One of my pleasures to try them new thing!
I tried Root beer and bean.
